Music streaming service Pandora announced a 48% surge in active listeners, indicating that the service was reaching some 56 million listeners in August. The even better news was the upsurge in how advertisers viewed Pandora as an advertising platform, and the increased ad revenues that will follow.
“Advertisers are loving Pandora,” came a headline in a report by Wells Fargo’s Marci Ryvicker Friday... Pandora is viewed as a “very efficient local buy for large, national advertisers.”In a comment, a professor at NYU indicated that "Puma's effort on the (Pandora) workout stations last spring were a big hit with my students who recognized the excellent fit between target and product."
