Silicon Alley Insider uses the tenth anniversary of MLB.tv to illustrate the recent changes in how people watch online video.
People who watched games only on their desktop have fallen by almost
half on a year over year basis. While people who watched games on desktop, smartphone, and connected devices like Xboxs nearly doubled.
While the numbers online using wireless (9%) or connected devices (4%)
only are still small, the chart also shows that 45% of MLB.tv subscribers watch at least some programming through connected devices (OTT or gaming consoles that output to your TV set), and 60% watch at least some programming via wireless (mobile) devices. The big jump is in mobile, jumping from 36% to 60% in one year.

Well written and good information, I've got nothing to add! I guess I will say that as this is an important online chnnels aspect of many developing careers, we're also all responsible for keeping an eye on how this affects the industry over time - especially with "free" becoming a more common price tag every day.

A lot of shows have come down the pike since Cosmos I that cover a lot of the same general ground. Through The Wormhole with Morgan Freeman has been the best show on TV the last half decade. Of course I'll give this a look and am khabarnaakexpress news hoping for the best but of all the programming that has been produced over the last few decades, Cosmos was among the ones least in need of a gritty reboot.
